We are a cozy hostel located just 50 meters away from the beautiful beaches of Pina and Boa Viagem. Our location is unbeatable and we have a charming, comfortable and happy environment! We are located close to shops and bus stops. You´ll enjoy our delicious northeastern tipical breakfast, communal kitchen, music & chill-out lounge, TV room, and lockers with keys. Linen and WiFi in all areas are also included. We have a 24-hour reception and security cameras in use.

Here you´ll be able to find a playful decor with vintage features forming a unique gallery with art pieces, musical instruments and handicrafts. Everything carefully displayed on the colorful walls of the hostel. Come check it out!

Guests can relax in our “Cubo Magico”, a chill out zone with sofas, ottomans and interactive games. You can also join a conversation with other guests or chat with your family or friends through the Internet.

If you´d prefer you can enjoy our relaxing hammocks, find a corner to enjoy a good book sipping a mug of coffee or tea.

In our communal kitchen the guests can have a meal or a quick snack before going to the beach or around our beautiful city.

The conscious use of the resources of the planet, recycling, reforestation, sustainable programs, educational projects and concepts of Fair Trade are part of the actions that Piratas da Praia Hostel supports and believes. Join us!

Our shared rooms consist of bunk beds and extra beds. Most of them can accommodate 6 to 8 people and are mixed gender.

All rooms have a large window with access to natural light, ceiling fans and air conditioner at night between 9 pm and 9am with no extra cost.

For your safety each room has a locker. We provide bed linen (100% cotton), soft pillows and handmade blankets. You can also rent towels at the front desk.

Beside every room you will find a shared bathroom!
The rooms are cleaned daily.

The hostel is on the third floor of a building without elevator. For special needs please notify us in advance! We will be happy to help! We are in a privileged location close to restaurants, nightclubs, banks & exchange currency locations as well as shopping malls, supermarkets, bakeries, cafeterias and ... 50 meters from Boa Viagem Beach!

Easy access to attractions: Old Recife and Marco Zero, the UNESCO World Heritage site of Olinda, the Convention Center of Recife & Olinda, museums, centuries-old churches, universities, Oficina Francisco Brennand, Instituto Ricardo Brennand, catamaran rides, Porto de Galinhas, Carneiros, Itamaraca Island & Ilhota da Coroa-do-Avião, and many other wonderful places.

We kindly ask you to confirm your reservation 24 hours in advance before your arrival via e-mail. Unconfirmed reservations are at risk of being automatically canceled.

Reservations for Carnival, World Cup, New Year and other major events, will only be confirmed upon payment of the total amount of the stay (100%). After effective booking through this site, we will contact you requesting the remainder of the payment via PayPal or bank deposit. Any and all fees related to banking transactions are assumed by the customer.

Payments must be made ​​in cash (Brazilian real) on arrival
We ask for R$ 10.00 deposit regarding the locker key. We will refund you the key´s deposit when you return the keys at check-out.
Shared rooms are mixed (male and female), equipped with bunk beds + extra beds.

We speak English, Spanish and 'Northeastern' Portuguese of course!
